10th Anniversary Souvenir
A Decade of Service Above Self
With deep respect and heartfelt remembrance, we pay tribute to Rtn. Trilok Gulhati, a visionary Rotarian and a true believer in "Service Above Self." As the founder of Rotary Bengaluru Heritage NCC—presently Rotary Bengaluru Heritage North—he laid the strong foundation upon which our club continues to grow and serve.
GSR Rtn. Gulhati was an embodiment of compassion, humility, and leadership. His dedication to impactful community service and humanitarian initiatives touched countless lives. He inspired every Rotarian who worked alongside him, demonstrating that when one person leads with sincerity and purpose, others are moved to join and amplify the mission of service.
Gifted with the ability to bring people together for noble causes, he created a culture of collaboration and goodwill that remains at the heart of our RBHN family. His passion for uplifting communities, supporting the underserved, and spreading kindness is a legacy that continues to guide us. While we mourn his loss, we celebrate the life he lived and the transformation he brought to the world around him. His values, his vision, and his unyielding spirit will forever remain a part of our club's identity. May your soul rest in eternal peace. Your memory will always be treasured in the hearts of all who knew you.
We fondly remember Rtn. Thamarai Selvi as a vibrant, enthusiastic storyteller whose warmth and cheerful presence brought joy wherever she went. A devoted Rotarian at heart, she dedicated herself to touching lives through her unique talents—especially her remarkable puppetry skills, which she used to inspire, educate, and spread smiles across communities.
With the soul of a passionate teacher, she always strived to create magic for others. Her compassion, her care for individuals, and her unwavering willingness to serve made her an irreplaceable part of Rotary Heritage NCC—now Rotary Bengaluru Heritage North. She actively engaged in every club initiative and held a strong commitment to road safety awareness.
Thamarai Selvi had a beautiful gift—she connected effortlessly with everyone she met. She built lasting bonds with fellow Rotarians through her kindness, sense of humor, and genuine concern for others. Her remarkable involvement played a significant role in the success of the TSD Car Rally fundraiser organized during 2018-19.
We remember Dr. Udai Singh as the true embodiment of Rotary's guiding principle — Service Above Self. His extraordinary dedication to the Rotary Charitable Dispensary for over five years stands as a shining example of compassion in service.
With his calm presence, gentle smile, and kind words, he brought comfort and hope to every patient he treated. He reminded beneficiaries of the importance of caring for their health, offering not just medical guidance but heartfelt encouragement. For many, he was not only their doctor but a source of strength and reassurance.
Dr. Uday connected deeply with our RBHN family as well — a friend to all, approachable and supportive whenever called upon. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, he went above and beyond to ensure patients received timely care and, when needed, stood by their side with unwavering commitment. His invaluable contribution was pivotal to the Rotary Charitable Dispensary earning the Significant Project Award for two consecutive years.
We recall with deep admiration the service and dedication of Rtn. Kashinath, a committed Rotarian who truly upheld the spirit of giving. Despite his frequent travels to Africa, he always made time to support meaningful charitable initiatives. His contributions, generosity of spirit, and willingness to serve will always be cherished and remembered by every member of our club. Rtn. Kashinath has left behind a legacy of kindness and responsibility — values that continue to inspire us. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory remain a guiding light in our journey of service.
Rtn. Pradip Sharma, a young and passionate tennis talent, left us far too soon. His sudden passing deeply saddened the RBHN family. A shining star in district sports events, he brought pride to our club. We honoured his vibrant spirit through a tennis tournament held in his loving memory.
Annette Rahul, beloved son of Rtn. Arun Gopal, left us far too early, with his dreams of serving the nation still unfolding. Even at a tender age, he lived the spirit of Service Above Self, supporting students and showing deep compassion for others. His gentle presence is greatly missed at RBHN, and his kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
We recall with deep admiration the service and dedication of Rtn. Vinay Kumar. His sudden passing deeply saddened the RBHN family. He brought pride to our club.
We recall with deep admiration the service and dedication of Rtn. Raghu KN. His sudden passing deeply saddened the RBHN family. His support of many community events is still fondly remembered.
