Teaching Tailoring at the Belaku School for the Specially Abled

Completed Projects

This project has successfully started . Efforts are being made to teach hand sewing to 10 children of this school, who have been short listed by the school based on their capabilities. The kids are being taught basic stitches like running, hemming, cross stitch and then simple embroidery. The kids surprisingly are learning quite fast and are thrilled to have these classes.

The school has sewing machines and a parents’ group is being created where the interested mothers can come forward and learn tailoring. The classes will start as soon as we have a handful  of parents.
